About the Guest
David Auerbach is a writer and software engineer. He previously worked for Google and Microsoft. My writing has appeared in The Times Literary Supplement, the MIT Technology Review, The Nation, New Scientist, The Daily Beast, n+1, Bookforum, and many other publications. He authored the technology column in Slate, for which he was nominated for a National Magazine Award. He has lectured around the world on technology, literature, philosophy, and stupidity. He lives in New York with my family and 5000 books.
